Mental Health

Picture 31.jpg

Feelings of depression, pain and suicidal thoughts blinds us from the realisation that life can get better. When our mind goes dark we struggle to see any possibility of any inner peace and happiness, leading us to despair.

Suicide doesn’t end the Pain;  It just passes it on to someone else.

If you are in a dark place and considering suicide, please reach out to someone you know or contact someone who’ll listen. You don’t need to be alone; there are people out there that can help.

We can’t rescue you if we don’t know you need it.

Anxiety is an emotion which emerges from feelings of tension, worried thoughts, concerns or fears.

Anxiety is normal when faced with difficult or stressful situations but for some it can be excessive and can make you avoid social situations and restrict you from everyday experiences in life.

Individuals who suffer with symptoms such as anxiety and depression may turn to using substances in order to cope with these symptoms.

Substance misuse is a world-wide problem and is emerging as one of the most common and harmful problems in society today

When someone struggles with an Addiction it can have serious negative effect on those close to them, family, friends even work colleagues.

Addiction is not a Choice that an Individual can Control; it is a Compulsion, so they are unable to Stop on their Own.

But there is treatment out there; Reducing harm and Supporting Recovery are some of the supports available to those struggling to cope with their substance misuse, as well as residential programmes and support groups for both the individual and family members.
